Jim Strayhorn Joins Anson Bank & Trust Team

Bank & Trust is pleased to welcome Jim Strayhorn
as President. Jim brings over 32 years of banking experience
to the Anson team, with twenty-five years of that tenure
concentrated in the area of commercial banking.
Born and raised in Hillsborough, NC, he
graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a B.A. degree in Marketing
and Economics in 1966. Following his graduation he served
in the U.S. Navy as a fighter pilot stationed on the USS
Independence and the USS Constellation.
His hobbies are fishing, golf and carpentry
work. He is also an avid cook.
Jim is actively involved in his community,
serving on a wide variety of boards and is a member of
numerous clubs and organizations. He feels that he can "make
a difference" in his community by helping the people
of Anson County help themselves via the many products
and services offered through their local, hometown bank.
