Palaside Office Community Dedication

Friday, March 12th 2004 - Concord, NC - Cabarrus Bank & Trust celebrated the grand opening of its new Palaside Drive branch with a community dedication ceremony and a weekend of celebrations.

As part of this celebration each new mortgage closed and checking or savings account opened between now and May 14th will pay off for local schools, according to Sanjay Mistry, president of Cabarrus Bank & Trust. The community bank will donate $25 for each mortgage and $10 for each savings or checking account to the local school of the customer’s choice.

“At Cabarrus Bank & Trust, we work to enhance the well-being of our community. By using local dollars in ways that support our schools and civic organizations and that create new local businesses and jobs, together we participate in developing and nurturing an improved quality of life right here at home,” Mistry said.

“Education prepares our children for the challenges ahead,” said Board Member Edward B. Tyson, retired Kannapolis School superintendent. “Through programs like this and our initiative that gives each Bank associate 24 hours per year to volunteer in the schools, we are helping provide a solid foundation for the next generation.”
