John McIntyre Joins Bank of Stanly As Senior Vice President
and Branch Leader / Financial Consultant

and Chief Executive Officer of Bank
of Stanly, is pleased to announce that John McIntyre,
a highly experienced market executive in the Stanly County
region, will join Bank of Stanly as Senior Vice President
and Branch Leader / Financial Consultant.
Mr. McIntyre began his banking career in
1985 and has nearly 20 years service in a community bank
environment. On Mr. McIntyre’s decision to join Bank
of Stanly, Mr. Lawhon commented, “John is an excellent
banker who cares about the people of Stanly County. We are
excited to have him join Bank of Stanly and become a part
of our hometown banking family."
John received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration
from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and
is a graduate of the Mid-Management Banking Program at
the North Carolina School of Banking in Chapel Hill.
Mr. McIntyre is a 1975 graduate of Albemarle High School. He
and his wife, Sharon, reside in Albemarle and have two
children, Meredith and Rob. He is an active member of the
Stanly Community College Foundation Board and Rotary Club.
His hobbies include golf, running and hunting.
