Cabarrus Bank & Trust Honors Teacher of the Year and Outstanding Business

Wednesday, May 2nd 2006 - Concord, NC - Cabarrus Bank & Trust honored Cabarrus County’s Teacher of the Year Chasity Dolan recently at the company’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders. Mrs. Dolan teaches Elementary Education at Weddington Hills Elementary School in Concord.

Teachers have a special mission of helping mold and encourage our children to be what they can be, to dream big dreams and realize those dreams. “Chasity chose teaching because she viewed this profession as a way to mold and groom children to be contributing members of society. She feels the students she has in her classroom today will be the leaders of tomorrow." said Alex Rankin, Cabarrus Bank & Trust’s Board of Directors’ Chair, who recognized Mrs. Dolan.

"Chasity also views teaching as a way of giving back to her community. Her peers say Chasity does an excellent job of teaching and she is very knowledgeable about curriculum. She goes above and beyond teaching requirements. Chasity is often found helping others and is a lead mentor for her school. She takes the initiative and gets things done. It is my distinct honor to recognize Cabarrus County’s Teacher of the Year Chasity Dolan, recognition she so deserves for the impact she is having on our children and our future.”

With these changes, Dale saw a need for a business to handle bulk mail for small to mid size businesses and M.A.I.L.E.D., Inc. became a reality” said Pat Horton, Chief Executive Officer for Cabarrus Bank & Trust. “They are making a difference in the community by providing good jobs for local people, and by helping to create community wealth right here at home. It is our pleasure to recognize M.A.I.L.E.D., Inc. our 2006 Cabarrus County Outstanding Business.”
