Anson Bank & Trust Supports Anson County Book Drive

Wednesday, April 26th 2006 - Wadesboro, NC - Anson Bank & Trust recently participated in the Anson County Partnership for Children “Books for Kids” book drive. The book drive, which collected 1,607 books, was held as part of the annual “Week of the Young Child” in celebration of the Partnership’s 10th anniversary. Although Anson Bank & Trust did not win this year’s “Battle of the Banks,” we are proud of our efforts to promote literacy in the communities we serve.

Anson Bank & Trust offers its associates twenty-four hours of educational leave per year to participate in school events and to tutor and mentor local children. By working together, we can make a difference.
